Mystic U18G Win US Club State Championship!
Congratulations to the U18G Mystic. The Mystic won the US Club sponsored New Jersey Cup this past weekend. The girls won a thriller defeating US Parma in a shootout to win the New Jersey Championship! The Mystic run through the tournament included wins against Toms River, South Jersey Barons, and the Freehold Shooting Stars. The team is trained and coached by long-time Knights coach, Mike Kizoulis. The team is managed by Kathy Collins. Great Job Mystic!
U1B Fire - Ultimate Kickoff Champs!
Congratulations to the U15 Fire for their 1st place finish at the Ultimate Spring Kickoff Cup Tournament. The U15 Fire began the tournament with a 2-0 victory over the Long Island FC Colts. Strong goalkeeping by Bryce Horn put the team in the tournament finals by allowing only one goal in three games of bracket play.
Goaltending and a solid defensive back line of Hunter Merrick, Brandon Goldy, Navan Shah, and Justin Thompson attributed to two shutouts in four games with only two goals allowed in the entire tournament. Offensively Omar Garcia, Joe Battaglia, and Ben Lazarus contributed pressure and scoring. The Fire took the champion ship beating Valeo FC (MA) in a sudden victory penalty shoot-out. Matt Bumpstead slid home the 9th and winning shot for the title. The Fire is coached by Joseph Migacz and managed by Phil Bafuto.

Wizards U16B Win Ironbound Tournament!
Congratulations to the U16B Wizards for their 1st place finish at the Ironbound Invitational Tournament. The U16B Wizards began the tournament with a 2-0 victory over the Ironbound Mustangs. Strong goalkeeping by Tyler Utheim put the team in the tournament finals with the stoppage of 2 penalty shots.
Goaltending and a solid defensive back line of Corbisiero, Forden, Lucas, Martinez, Sullivan and Vidal attributed to 3 shutouts in 5 games with only 2 goals allowed. Offensively Adao, Aguilar, Fawzy, Goggins, Landis, Szlachta, and Vastardis contributed pressure and scoring. The Wizards are coached by Knight’s Training director, Pedro Lopes and managed by Mike Forden.

U14G Daggers Support DeFeet Breast Cancer 5K Run!
The Jersey Knights Daggers U14 girls team supported the Mama Mare Breast Cancer Foundation by partcipating in a 5k Run this past weekend. Julia Previte of the Daggers finished 2nd in her age group!
The Mission of the Mama Mare Foundation is to provide support services to breast cancer patients and their families, and raise funds for biomedical research being conducted in search for a cure. By doing so, we will carry on the legacy of Mary Ellen Pernice, a.k.a “Mama Mare”, who dedicated her life to helping others.

Elite Training 2.0 brings togehter a unique combination of physical assesment and data collection using a specifically crafted digital program.Players are evaluated to create individual reports and have the opportunity to understand how they perform and how they can improve.

JK Soccer Announces a New Training Opportunity! JK Elite for 7-9 Year Olds!
The Knights are now offering a specialized training program for younger players ages 7-9. The program, for both boys and girls, revolves around a 5 v 5 model with the emphasis on playing and developing skills without any pressure on winning games - just having fun, enjoying the game and developing a solid skill set that will lead to success on the field. In addition to weekly training with Knight’s trainers, players will participate in "festivals" where a series of short matches are played on modified size fields. Festivals usually last 3-4 hours with 4 or 5-15 minute matches being playeed. Groups train during the week with one of our trainers (Fridays as not to conflict with any other rec or club commitments)and play on a weekend at the festival.

JK Cavalry U17G Win Both games At Monmouth University!
The Jersey Knights Cavalry U17G opened their Spring 2012 Season with 2 wins at the Monmouth Unversity College Showcase. The girls took a few minutes to get acclimated to being outside after training all winter inside. In the first game vs the Arsenal Fire U17G the girls got stronger as the game progessed. After trailing at the half 1-0 the Cavalry scored 3x in the second half to defeat a strong Arsenal Club 3-1.
